Check out the chase plane for the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner
A 60+ year old design T-33 flying chase with a 21st century airliner. How cool that must be from analog instruments (and no on board computer) flying along witha plane with the newest in avionics that all controlled by computers.:happy bounce: Let's see - slide rules to CAD where has the time gone?
You would think that Boeing might actually use one of its "own" designs to fly chase, not a Lockheed product - yeah I know, Boeing owns everyone, but still, at least an F-4!
