I have the Hyperion dual charger. I am trying to charge a coulple of batteries but my charger only lets you charg in 100 mAh increments. For example, I have a 430 mAh and a 5250 mAh batteries. Should I charge them 50 mAh below or above?

I would go 50 over on occassion as a fast charge...but for the most part I would go 50 under. The charger keys off the voltage to tell when the pack is full so charging them 50 over could actually leave them under charged as the voltage could spike telling the charger they are charged when in fact they are not.

Another tid-bit about charging LIPOS. Although many newer LIPOS are coming with expanded ability to accept a faster charger, in response to the A123 market, a 1C charger is a safe rate to charge.

So staying 50 under would keep you in the 1C zone.

1C or less and your LIPOS will last longer and push harder.
