On youtube to load a 4:30 second vid it takes 7 hrs and is 997 mb cut down from a 20 minute vid which shows 1.4G..not sure whats up with my camera but looks like I want be able to use them as aerial vids..err is there anyway to change the size format for recording..
I have absolutely ,no problems posting a 20 min vid or longer from my Nikon D90 on youtube, photo bucket ect..I'm really dissapointed I wanted to use the little keychain camera for my planes, heli and Nitro truck plus get vids me riding my dirt bike the vids are just recording in to large of a format. It takes great vids and audio and I guess I am the only person in the word that is having an issue..Its driving me nuts..

Thanks wayne its the same Keychain camera Classy56 got and has posted vids from..Its an el-cheapo $20.00 camera/video/webcam..It takes great vids. I bought 2 ..I'm not sure maybe I need to do a reset. I went back and read the book on it and it should be working fine..here's the link ..
check out the manual. I must not be doing something right. The camera works great just records large ..I don't blame the seller at all there's to many vids up to think its the camera..could it be my PNY Micro SD 2 gig card???
A member on here is kind enough to give me his number and I will give him a call tomorrow evening so hopfully we can get it working....
Classy56 if you read this have you had any issues with posting to vid host..I took a 5min 20 second vid of my kid today and it was 788MB???
my vids are reading the same 30fps as this vid. The camera in the manual is what I have I got the 1 gig SD cards from best buy..

Your welcome, happy to help and looking forward to the videos.

Wayne, when you rendor the video select the "other setting" and pick "DVD quality 3mbps". This will reduce the video quality from the camera's resolution to DVD resolution and reduce the file size.

My 'full length' videos have always taken 8-9 hours to load, I will employ this strategy next time thanks!

I am not able to interpret what the instructions here mean. SO I take a video, then load it to my computer. Where do I find these settings? I see no area to adjust settings, do I need some special software or is this adjustment capable to be done in Windows 7 Premium?

If you could walk me through the steps I'd be much appreciative.

ATIS thanks for the call! EASY to do once we got to the right program. Not being media savy I only have Windows Movie Maker. I went to Windows Movie Maker with Bryan, imported a test video then simply saved it under DVD quality which reduced the video dramatically in size.

Much smaller, E-Mail and Portable Device Friendly, sizes are available as well but without trying first to see what the quality looks like Bryan suggested staying with the ~20MB/Minute DVD quality size.

Thanks Bryan!

just be sure to use Vimeo over Youtube the quality seems to be night and day.
The Biggest problem I have is remembering I have a camera so I forget to attach it to the plane..Its soooo Tiny..:thumbsup:I always charge it up and take it with me to the field..::yell::

I flew my first video yesterday evening with this little camera and I guess not bad.

I flew by my house in this tighter area and since I was hitting the go pedal a lot acreage 'flew' by so I was turning a lot.

Video was taken in the evening, it had just stopped raining so it was VERY overcast. The itty-bitty lense on this thing does not gather light like a more aerial long range purpose built camera so it's a bit dull. I am rendering it as I 'speak' and will post as soon as I get it loaded to Vimeo then linked here.

I look forward to getting to the airfield with acreage galore and a brighter day to play more and get some nicer video. I will get some more further video around my house taking it easy and just puttin around rather than Rolls, S's, Hammerheads, Half and Full Cubans as I did this time.

Lastly I was a bit touchy on the controls it has been outlandishly windy here lately. Today has been as the passed week winds in the teens gusting to mid 20's plus. So I haven't flown for a bit.

Let you know when it is up.

Oh brother I tell ya if it isn't one thing....

For some reason Vimeo is giving me trouble, video gets almost sompletely loaded (2hrs) then stops and says Problem Loading Video, check your internet connection.

This has never been a problem before but has happened twice now. I will try to load the full-size video and see if that helps any.....

Sorry,
Wayne

download the desktop loader....works way better. Also dont let your computer go into hibernation/sleep

I reset my 'SLEEP' mode to not be activated during video uploading and suspect my issues there are resolved with VIMEO.

Thanks AGAIN ATIS,

Wayne

PS. Apprentice In-Flight Video coming shortly.
