WOW what a ball of angry hornets that sounded like on the video.

Were the streamers attached to facilitate a streamer cut competition or just for visual effects?

BTW Liquid when you get a chance to try streamers on your Apprentice it's a lot of fun. I attached a streamer to each wing about half way between the Fuselage and Ailerons and they were I am guessing and remembering about 8 foot each. She looked pretty neat and was fun to fly, however landing you MUST use some deliberate throttle otherwise she'll stall in a heartbeat. The amount of drag the streamers apply was/is staggering.

Yep It was pretty WILD...They called it combat flying they tryes to cut the streamers but no-one got cut as they were all over the place..:clapping:
Hornets is a good discription..I never seen anything like that before pretty cool. The planes were hand made..There was what they called a BUG there I missed getting it on camera looked like a flying beatle with a prop..slow but cool..

ATIS's airfield would have none of this streamer deal. They do FULL CONTACT. http://www.horizonrcflyers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66&highlight=Full+COntact

Lyrics are a little gnarly but video is good, ATIS always has good video quality, and it's right up the alley of the field combat you have here.

Combat is huge at the Flying Tiger's of NC on Jordan Lake. My manager at work competes and has one one of their events. I've seen it once and the only way to describe it is: "A swarm of angry gnats."

Combat is limited to the type of plane and size of the engine (typically around .25 glow engines) so it's fair. A 10' streamer is attached to the plane, and 5 planes go at it. The goal is to be the last one with the most streamer standing, when you have no streamer you must land.

RealFlight G5 added this multiplayer feature. I've tried it a few times. Easier said than done.
