Well this was a shock :o. My second day in breaking in my new batteries. Batteries 1-3 did ok, even pretty windy (wings fluttering in a shallow dive). Battery #4, I don't know what happened. All of the sudden the rx & motor started bliping. The end result was a 90 degree nose dive into concrete. I scraped the battery pretty good, showing some metal, but it tests out fine. Believe it or not, the prop shaft is not bent. This is still the same one from the last crash (see other post).
Damage list:
Fuselage
Prop
?motor
?rx
My concern is now the tail surfaces flutter with WOT, where I do most of my flying (especially on windy days). This is only if the motor is turning, as I disconnected the motor and they're smooth. I would say I'm due for a new motor now also. I guess some internal damage could cause some rf interference.
