That car will still be a bitchin' rod when your kids are old enough to fight over who gets to drive it next.
I'll see your '56 and raise you a '72.

Happy Birthday Travis! Have a great day.
Also many THANKS Travis for all the time ( especially the computer Voodoo) you've spent the last few months in teamworking efforts to critique, improve and advance our website. :clapping:

I miss my 71 Chevelle... I can only raise you a 91 (Mustang LX 5.0)...which has become my project car with my 10yr old daughter... she has already informed me its hers when she turns 16... Travis is going to be in the same boat with the 56.

Why doesn’t it surprise me that RC gadget freaks are also GearHeads.
I’m betting if we took a poll, there’d also be some fir’arms stacked not too far away.
Because they share so much in common:
1) both are big boy toys
2) both can be modded for better performance
3) both draw a crowd
4) once complete both put a huge smile on your face
5) both can land you in the dog house with the wife
6) both drain your wallet
Do I have to raise my hand for your last question?? Or will the facts that I am a Jarhead and just bought my 10yr old daughter a BB gun to teach her to shot be sufficient?

7) Both are cheaper then a full scale plane, annuals and pilot certificate.
aint that the truth...sorry for hijacking your birthday thread.

So Cllsy, did you get a new plane for your birthday? I think I will try to convince my wife that ALL flyers get new planes on their birthdays.
Happy 35th. But in RC circles I think 35 is just a young pup.
I sold my wife on RC by providing a list for my B-day and Christmas that contained nothing but RC stuff...planes, RX, lipos, servos, etc and reminded her if she bought of my list she would be guarenteed that 1) I liked it 2) it would get used 3) she wouldnt be returning it.
I get RC stuff for both days.... to inlcude a Styrker C, T-28, and lipos....
