I few days ago I was searching for some info on the P-38 Lightning and found this site http://www.armyairforces.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx (http://www.armyairforces.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx)

That site is very interesting. I love WW II aviation and I am amazed that so many people are still trying to locate airman and crash sites, and they are finding them daily ! Enjoy !!

Hagerstown is 30-minutes from my house.
My birthday is next month and I was dropping hints about how nice one hour in a P-51 would be. However, no one caught the hints.

You know you'd have to do the one hour because the 1/2 hour is just getting settled in. The second 1/2 hour would be when the fun starts.

I almost got some stick time in a P-51. About 12 years ago I worked with Ladd Gardner son of 'Lefty" Gardner. At the time his dad had a p-51 here in San Marcos, TX. Before we got around to it he moved:mad:
