I have always found this rule odd in the AMA rules.


7. I will not operate model aircraft with metal-blade propellers or with gaseous boosts (other than air), nor will I operate model aircraft with fuels containing tetranitromethane or hydrazine.

I'm not sure why metal props are bad, now that I think about it, probably due to the fact that they would be more likely to chop a finger off.

Anyway, here are my 2 antique props.

The top one is aluminum and the wood one is just huge

I like the metal one... I think you could use it to make margaritta's at the field :)

Speaking of metal props on the other thread. I thought I would share this again for those who haven't seen it.
