ASSEMBLY

If you have built as many airplanes as I have, after awhile you come to appreciate a good quality ARF. It is so nice sometimes to just "finish" the airplane, and get to the flying! This is one of those airplanes. It took me just under 2 hours to put together.

The manuals step by step instructions are clear, and pictures along the way make it so easy. Carefully read through the manual and get a idea of any extra items you may need. This plane assembles so easy I put it together in my own order, and checked the manual when needed. (that was at the end for the CG location, lol)

Install the wheels then put the landing gear into fuse then bolt into position.

Hinge left and right ailerons and install servos each with 6" extensions.
Attach control horns and linkages.

Mount wings with wing tube and bolt into position.

Bolt motor onto motor mount and plug in speed control. The speed control mounts inside fuse. Install cowl, (predrilled for you!) then attach prop.

Elevator/horizontal stabalizer get aligned and glue into place.
Hinge the elevator.
Rudder aligned and glue in place, with tail wheel in position.
Hinge the rudder.
Install rudder and elevator servos with 12" extensions.
Install rudder and elevator control horns and linkages.

Mount the reciever and plug in servo leads correctly.
Once battery is connected you can verify surfaces move in the correct directions.
Check CG/set throws/level trim.

MAIDEN FLIGHT

Recommended rates. I did not check AUW but she did not feel heavy at all.

Weather was bad, windy and storm clouds. I rushed one quick flight in and decided to try again a different day.

My second flight had nice weather, low wind, and she flew very nice. I cant wait to put some stick time on her and play with the CG and such as this plane will do it all.

Recommend intermediate to advanced pilot.

I shot the video for this baby... very impressive flyer that slows to a crawl. Scott almost had me buying one!! (I dont fly 3d but she would make a nice sport flyer/pattern plane for the park)

WOW NICE Plane and nice flying there FLYBYE. ATIS as always good recon..

I am so impressed! That plane is highly responsive and looks like a ball of fun to fly.

FLYBYE nice to hear the ARF was clean and went together as plans intended. E-Flite has a reputation for the higher quality.

That second snap roll was incredible!

Good job guys and I have a much more thorough respect and longing for this plane.

thanks guys, the first snap roll I did was crazy, it caught atis a little off guard on the camara, so we got the second one, but I over snapped and ended coming out of it inverted like I wanted to do it that way. . LOL.

Yes I noted the inverted exit and a little jump the plane did when you were reacquiring your orientation. Nice job your flying skills are superb.

Most impressive plane and flyer.

I think they call ‘em snap rolls cuz that’s what it would do to your C-spine.

And where do you guys get these putting greens to fly from?
