I had fun flying today as I had about every kid in our neighborhood watching me. I showed them what controls moved what. Some kids were really interested in it and some weren't, but that's ok. Looks like I'll have a few kids who will want to buddy box when I get a second TX.
:)
sweet, nothing better then sharing the hobby.

That is one drawback and benefit of having an airfield in the middle of nowhere, the traffic is minimal. It really is a double-edged sword, people living only a few miles away do not know we have been there for years. At a park within the proper guidelines, see AMA Park Flyer Program here: http://www.horizonrcflyers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2, you can get exposed or expose many people to the wonders and enjoyment of R/C air flight. Versus a dedicated field in the middle on nowhere that is unknown to life-long residents.
Glad to hear you are having fun with the Apprentice, is a great plane. Also makes for a great demonstration plane as it's largre size makes for easy viewing fast or slow, high or low.
I want to fly tonight but the weather is hit/miss rain and gusty so I'm not going to bother with loading the vehicle, driving to the field just to sit there and wait for an opening in the weather.
BTW I am saddened to see hwo FAST the sunlight is waning! Going very fast so everyone get the flying in and get ready for old man winter flying!
