Talked to one of the mothers who thought it would be a good hobby for her son to get into to help improve motor skills. Highly recommended an R/C flight sim to help save some money.
The Simulator is a wonderful idea. Save the costs of repairs but most of all saves from the frustration and quit cycle. Without doubt many people have tried Hobbies, such as R/C flight, to quit immediately after a bad first experience. All too often the looks easier than it really is sucks people in and they end up having an EDF for a first plane and then never touch a plane again.
So great advice, rcdude07. Next advice I'd give to these potential new pilots and pilots' parents get a HobbyZone Super Cub. A terrific plane to learn on it is, even better after some above mentioned simulator time.
