Review Suggestion

Hey guys and girls! For everyone who does a review, I highly recommend stating in the review the cost paid for the product. I recommend this due to reading this article from CNet: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-10367464-93.html



I'm sure we're paying for all our products, but I'd hate for anyone to get fined.

yep, we all pay for everything we review. It gets expensive but we are not linked to HH or any other company (all of us have full time jobs that are outside the RC industry and this forum is a way for us to give back to the hobby and promote it...I'm active military with 18 yrs and counting of service).

This means we can be completely unbiased in our reviews since we cant be pressured to give a favorable review on a product. Thats something the three of us agreed to when we started, honest reviews. A forum is either made or broken by its integrity. If you look at members posts, all those that are LHS owners or work for HH or other companies have it disclosed in their screen names or their member status (or avitar). Its all about transparency and being openand up front about everything and we do our best to ensure that those with commerical vested interests in the hobby disclose that up front. We love having the company reps and owners in here helping answer questions about their products but we just want to ensure that they are up front about who they are.

Also if/when we get products paid for by others there will certainly be a disclosure not only to cover this issue you raise but also as a thank-you to the provider of such items. I believe it is only proper to announce such things as a one hand washes the other sort of relationship.
