View Full Version : Gbi indoor flyin oct 11th

For those of you near Havelock, NC, this coming Sunday October 11th starting at 7:00pm GBI Hobbies will be having an Indoor Fun Fly at the Havelock Rec Center. The Rec Center is located Just past Roger Bell Elementary Shcool on Hwy 101.

This will be a good chance to fly your embers, vapors, MCX, MSR, CX and CP's along with foamy planes of all kinds.

Plans are to hold this on the second Sunday of the month.

Come out and see what going on with indoor flying!

Have a great time I look forward to the reports.

I would love to be there but I'd have to leave soon since 1437.58 miles to go to get there. Or well roughly speaking.

I am certain everyone will have a great time and once more I was impressed with the display of talented piloting at your first one so look forward to your next meet.

Man we had a great time last night. About 20-25 people showed up with at least 12 pilots flying various planes.

Thanks to everyone for coming out last night. We definitely had more people flying last night.

Looking forward to next month. Maybe we'll see about 3 hours instead of 2.

3 hours would work for me!! Maybe a "vapor obstical contest", we had 4 or 5 of them flying around..maybe make a course and do pylon racing with them!

Looks like great fun by all. At the end of RCGolf's P-51 flight a nice CRACK was heard, who/what was that. Following this CRACK was a "Eeeewwww" from the crowd.

I really like the nice flying done with the 4-Site, nice gentle controls and she looks awesome.

Another successful night at the Gym I look forward to next month.

I think that "crack" was a 4-Site hitting the floor...but not sure as I had my face in the camera. LOL

I had a chance to go to the indoor fly-in tonight and had a blast.

just wanted to say thanks to gbi hobbies for setting this up.

ATIS did you make it to this latest GBI Indoor? Is there any photo/video coverage? GBI how was your turn out and when is the next one?

nope didnt make it this time. Been so busy sunday night was the first chance I had to just sit so I made it quality time with the wife and daughter (we watched GI Joe)
