We had about 3/4 inch of snow this morning where I live and we are under a Winter Storm Watch Sunday night through MOnday afternooon with 4-6 inches of snow on it's way.

Either this is a very early occasional snow event or we are in for a LONG winter. It just seems a bit early to be having 20's for lows and 30's for highs but that's been the case lately.

So I just may get to use our new snowblower a bit earlier than was expected.

I do not have a Camera that is comfortably suitable for my planes but when I do this winter I plan to get some nice, clear air video and photos from MN. The winter air is so void of moisture most times it is possible to see much farther and many times clearer than in the spring/summer/fall months. That should give us something to look forward to.

We ended up getting about 3 inches of snow, mostly melted down to about am inch by evening. The trees and all looked pretty for a few hours, came down real nice but ground is so warm it didn't have much of a chance of sticking. Barely made the roads slick.

I was thinking about getting out flying for a snow picture but believe there will plenty of time for that, as mentioned above thoughts of winter video/pics, was a bit pooped today after work long days...

So not any sort of doozeee of a snow but nonetheless a early warning from ole man winter.
