Travis Ken, Apprentice1, was/is experiencing viewing problems.
He can log-in ok and can navigate fine but can not see a majority of the pictures on the website.
I told him to try deleting his shortcut, and redoing it as there may be some cookie issue but not sure it helped as I am yet to hear back.
I also mentioedn if this did not help it may be an internet browser setting of his or a Firewall setting. I checked all his permissions and nothing popped out at me as denying him the ability to see attachements or viewing of posts and contents.
If you get the chance to look at his stuff to double check please do and keep your antenna up for any feedback from Ken.
I/we obviously want all to be able to see all, do all, tell all.
Thanks, Wayne
P.S.: If you find the key please inform us so we can better help the next member with this issue.
some picts arent showing...we need to have a thread for members to report problems...like specific threads.

I sent out an e-mail and created a new child forum within Forum Support dubbed Report Forum Problems.
Hopefully if we do get some reports they are trackable and we can get things fixed. I am assuming most viewing issues are browser or firewall setting issues from the users but until we look at the data that is only an assumption.

Hey KEN That is GREAT news. Please do me a favor, describe what you mean by "re-set" IE 8. It is possible others are having the same issue as you and if you can enlighten us all what worked for you it may help someone else one day!
All detail you can provide is great, be as granular as you can be.
Thanks a ton,
Wayne

If it is IE7 or IE8 - try resetting the browser. It won't nuke your favorites, it just puts all the security settings back to standard and removes problematic plugins (the most common cause of browser issues).
1. Close all browser windows.
2. Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet Options / Internet Options (depending on your view settings)
3. Go to the far right tab in that window called 'Advanced'.
4. At the bottom of that page, just above the Ok / Cancel / Apply there is a section that says:
Reset Internet Explorer settings -------------------------------------

Click Reset, agree, and let it run.
5. Click close, and then try to view pictures again.

Same thing here. I noticed this today. I double checked my albums and pictures, all are set to "Public." When one of my pics shows up in the random pics area of the homepage and I click the pic, I get the following page.

Did you try the above fix that worked for Apprentice1? Not sure it's the same issue but he had issues for a while until he 'reset his IE8. IT is a known issue that for some reason IE8 is buggy sometimes with V.Bulletin....

Occasionally I have to restart my computer to get everythignto view properly or event o log-in. I think it has something to do with the temporary settings from my son's school's learning game site, seems to happen more often after he's been on.

I use FireFox. Tried cleaning cookies and history. No change.

Fixed. I have the tendency to crank up profile security settings. Reduced the security setting on my albums and works. There was no problem with the website, it was working as intended.
GTG... Travis was about to have a nervous break down trying to resolve the issue. LOL

Hehehe. Sorry Travis. I know your pain being in the same field. I always hated the programming assignments in college that wouldn't work right and you had to spend hours debugging for that one misplaced symbol. My apologies for not looking at that earlier.
Thats why I studied Political Science and International Relations...in both when people dont agree with you, you just over throw them!! LOL

Shoot man, this is just a hobby. I'm not in the field :) I use to be a CAD guy, I'm in the family well drilling business.
