Not that it really matters much, besides cool to mention. Are any of you related to anyone that was famous? I find history fascinating.

Here are the only 2 that I'm aware of in our family tree, which are on my mother's side.

That's cool about Steve McQueen !
Daniel Boone married into my Dad's side of the family in eastern Kentucky before he went to Texas, so here I am 40 miles east of the Alamo.

Interesting thread!

You guys won't believe me and rarely people do but I'm related to the Wright brothers. My Grandmother's maiden name is Wright. I guess that's why I have this incredible love for flying... it's in my genes:cool:
