I hope that everyone takes a moment out of their day to remember those brave Service Members that lost their lives in the service of their country 68 years ago. May God's Grace be on them all.

I was not on this planet when the Pearl Harbor attack occurred and like the civil war, where twice as many american soldiers died than we lost in WW2, we are unfortuantely slowly losing the memory and history Dec 7, 1941 taught us.
Whenever I watch or read a documentary of the Pearl Harbor attack it is not the suprise attack alone that leaves an impression in my mind. This sneak attack cost us many brave men but was conjured up only by a few. The thing I recall heavily as well with any teachings of Pearl Harbor is the ability for the American people to come together, dust ourselves off, put petty differences aside and build from the ground up a force that is indivisable, undeniable and will when determined conquer any adversary.
I remember those brave men we lost as their backs were turned, remember the hundred thousand plus soldiers who died pursuing the Japanese enemy and the millions of Americans who sacrificed at home.
The United States is a complex union but when we need every American to tow the rope we do; friend or foe at the time of need all hands unite. Today go shake your neighbor's hand and tell him/her how proud you are to be an American.
