The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hYV-JSjpyU#lq-lq2-hq)
The Good:
It all started as a nice sunset and calm air. I grabbed my 2 boys and headed for the local baseball field. I got everything unloaded, loaded up my E-flite Battery and took off. Did a loop and flew around the field.
The Bad:
I then decided to do something STUPID! I decided to see what it would do full down and right. It dived, rolled over and before I knew it I was way to close to the ground and going straight down into the dirt at the ball diamond. It nose dived so hard it busted the fuselage right off behind the motor mount, took 2 of my 3 blades and destroyed the battery tray.

Surprisingly enough, even though it went straight down, the prop shaft survived. Well I was kind of upset with myself and loaded the kids in the truck. Went back and started to disassemble it...
The Ugly:
What the heck... I have nothing better to do, so I did a field fix. I shortened the fuselage and remounted the motor, threw on a 11x4.7 prop, Velcro'd a battery to the receiver box and added a rubber band to secure it. By this time a local cop stoped by and I ended up knowing him from earlier this year (kinda funny story but personal). Anyway we start talking and he wanted to see it fly. Well since I shortened the nose by a few inches, it was a bit tail heavy and would only stall and get only 5' off the ground. I told him I need to add some weight to the nose. Luckily for me, as he had some duck tape. It took me a few seconds to realize the only thing I had heavy enough was another battery. I ended up taping it to the motor mount and it almost balanced perfectly. Although really heavy it did get off the ground and flew pretty good. The battery only lasted about 5 min. I ran 3 batteries though it till it started getting to dark.
Nothing like McGuiver Engineering, LOL ;D

I don't think I would add anymore weight to it as it could still loop but it flew heavy.
