I hit the field today. Was out there from 2:30 to 7pm. Winds were a good 10-15mph straight down the run way. My GP Extra 300 handled the wind just fine. The few people out there were commenting about how smooth and graceful Extra flew, landed, and looked. Broke my last prop on the Millennium R/C Micro SSX. Went to the field from about 1-4pm EST. About 15 pilots with family were present. Good variety of planes. I took my .60 size Extra 300S, Millennium R/C Micro SSX, UM P-51, and Night Vapor. I got 3 good flights on the Extra and the maiden flight of the Micro SSX. Good day of flying, only one person ended up in the trees, but we were able to get it back thanks to a long bamboo pole that is stashed at the field.
