Default Aprentice On my Dads Farm Vid.

Me and Phantomphan went out to my Dads place today. He flew his Cub and I thought I got vid but my camera was dead. But the aprentice 15e vid worked. Thanks to Phantom for helping me fly in the rough. It was cool we were flying trough the trees in an open clearing then turning onto the field for the lineup.
It was an awesome day of flight I learned alot and practiced control and getting smoother this is a 12 acre field full of cow patties, and it was 100 Degrees....Hope to get more vids from there and better quality.
This vid the camera is mounted on top of the wing not sure why its wavy unless the wing is flexing this much..

    Hey guys,
I had a great day flying with Liquid1 yesterday. It was awesome to break away from the ole' routine and do some bush flying with my old Goldberg Cub. Forgot my video cam thou.
Whats hard to see in the above video is that the terrain is not flat, not even close, but we found a good area to mow a ~30 x ~120ish foot runway pretty much aligned north and south. So to the north we have trees and structures. To the south the ground was sloping away from the runway, down hill toward a creek.
This picture shows the glide path we had to use later in the day as the wind changed on us. Fly over the trees. Break to the right while cutting throttle. Let the planes nose fall thru right turn. Enjoy watching the models shadow cross the chicken house. Keep the plane in between the trees. Gentle left aileron turn to the runway.
Liquid1 shot that approach many times and got on the runway a handfull of times with no damage. Pretty darn good for someone that just started flying in March.

Liquid1 and I have already planned for another farm-fly in a few weeks. I'll be sure to have the video cam next time.

Thanks to liquid1 and his dad for a great day and some good ole' southern hospitality.

    Cheers,
    James

The wave (black on the left side) looks like the prop, the other is you need to deinterlace the video. It will smooth her out.

Happy to see a couple members where able to get together to fly. I flew with CheckSix and Spitfighter today.
No matter what goes wrong, keep flying the plane...at least then you have a chance of saving her.

No one ever damaged a plane hitting air!!

Yea we had a blast me and phantom li ve 15 min apart and he's been trying to whoop me into good flying shape man do I have alot to learn.. Atis I have never heard of Interlace vids before Please walk me trough it I use windows movie maker..I think some of the wave is due to cam mounted on top of apprentice wing I was running 2 cams 1 on top and 1 on bottom opposite wings. The bottom cam malfunction or i fumbled the vid up.
I think I will design a better Cam mount for the Apprentice more of a Downward position..
