    Default X9303 DSM2 to Ar8000 DSMX

setting up new plane, now i get it to bind and everything but when i power up radio then the rx, rx takes few seconds to initialize. After the rx is initialized the lights on the rx n sat are blinking rapidly.. i have full control but blinking lights worry me..it's not the same blink as when i power up rx first.

    So my questions are
    1. why is it taking for long to initialize?
    2. why are the lights rapidly blinking,,

I did try a JR 921 rx, takes same time to initialize but no rapid blinking lights..

The rapid blinking MIGHT be to remind you that you're not in freq jumping mode...unless you have had your TX updated to the X software...but dont quote me on that.

    Try this:

1.Turn on TX and set the controls the way you would want them if you lost signal "FAILSAFE" Low motor ETC
    2 Turn off TX
3 Put binding plug into power slot on receiver All this does is short the signal pin to the black wire pin
4 Plug your power from a battery direct or switch into AUX channel or any other open channel and power up the receiver
5 You should now Have blinking lights on both receivers
    6. Remove the binding plug Leave the power on The lights will continue to blink You have told the receiver that you want to bind
    7. Hold binding button down on TX and turn on -Hold until lights go solid
